Hello lovelies ! :3

As you may already know my name is Katrin and I am from a little town (Bovec) that is located in the North-West part of Slovenia (yeah a chicken shaped country, people normally mix with Slovakia)
Despite living in an area surrounded by high mountains, beautiful lakes, breathtaking waterfalls and stunning nature, I am more of an ocean person myself.

I am currently finishing my studies of film production and I am looking forward to do my master in film directing somewhere abroad (if you know a good school feel free to contact me ;)) as I would like you to see my movies/visions one day :)

Moreover (I think) I am a positive girl, that you will find smiling all the time :) My friends would probably describe me as a shy and quite person at first but once there is a conversation going on between us I can speak for hours, believe me :)
I am a serious breakfast person, so I don't really understand why breakfast gatherings are not that common. ( I mean there is nothing more amazing than starting your day with some good laughs and freshly baked chocolate pancakes.)

Some other random things about me:

- my favourite colour is blue
- I enjoy board sports (surfing, snowboarding, longboarding)
- I have a tattoo (planning to have more in the future)
- I wouldn't describe myself as a good cook but more of a foodie. ( I can still cook something for you tho.)
- I am more of a dog person

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on the couchsurfing because I love traveling and I think that the best way to really connect with the country/culture is to interact with locals :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I don't have a specific genre (that) I like but I normally enjoy myself over a movie where you don't just sit on you bump and stuff yourself with some hot nachos (nachos over popcorn), but you have to be present to understand the concept of the story.

Even if you wake me up in the middle of the night to ask me who my favourite director is the answer will always be:
Christopher Nolan; Inception is truly a masterpiece (but I have to sign Leo some credits for it too) but Memento, Dunkirk, Interstellar and Batman are pretty good too!

Some other movies I like: Psycho, The boy in the striped pajamas, The theory of everything, Red Sparrow, The source code, The prestige, Titanic...

Books: I think that books give you the opportunity to live more than just one life and I like to find myself living a life written by Dan Brown. He just knows how to do it.

Music: probably the easiest way to answer this question is to say that I am not a fan of country music or metal (except for Bring me the Horizon)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm... I think that the most amazing thing I've done was buying that plane/bus/train/ferry ticket to go somewhere new because all of this adventures made me the person I am today :)
