About Me
Hi there! :)
My name is Katrin and I'm 19 years old. In June 2018 I graduated from High School in Linz, Austria.
Going abroad after finishing school has always been my dream so I feel incredibly happy that this is what I get to do now. On my journey, I am being accompanied by my friend Kathi. We are really looking forward to making experiences for a lifetime, meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. As I am also fond of learning languages, I can't wait to perfect those! On top of that, there's so much we want to see in Australia as well.
So, with that being said, I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel is to live.
Looking forward to meeting amazing people from all over the world along the way and sharing experiences!
Interests
Music is my obsession honestly.
Aspiring to have a good old record player when having settled down. The vibes you get from that, I mean come on!
Also in love with being out and about, drinking lots of tea / coffee, taking polaroid pictures and going to concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books
Torn between modern tunes and 80s 90s music.
1 or 2 good concerts a year are a must for me! Artists I've been lucky enough to experience live until now: Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran, Brian May, Macklemore, Beyonce / Jay-Z, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, The Chainsmokers, OneRepublic.
Obsessed with Grey's Anatomy and Nicholas Sparks movies.
A very inspirational one: The Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in New York City for three weeks with a friend at the age of 16.
Taking a gap year (at the moment) and not rushing into studies I'm not sure of.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would be happy to teach you some German or Slovakian.
Playing the piano.
Keen on hearing about other cultures and customs.
