HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in hosting travelers, not people looking for a job in Perth. So if your on the road just passing through I am happy to hear from you. My preference is people around my age who have something to contribute by way of cultural exchange.I am also open to people who want to exchange some work in the garden for dinners. I would describe myself as easy going and friendly but I am not your mother nor am I the employment half way house :)

big wide range of tastes and interests from classical to rap thru johnny cash and red hot chillies. Opera to nine inch nails. Books, yes please. I do have a thing for science fiction. Will read just about anything I can get my hands on.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

lived in India for over seven years in the early 80's. Big cities, Bombay Delhi and a small village in the Himalayas. Not so easy back then. Survived to tell the tale, and what a story it is !
Swam with humpback whales last year in Tonga
Swam with a whale shark as big as a bus
Teach yoga to a woman who is now 86, she inspires me every single day with her courage and zest for life.
Race big yachts on the ocean for fun :) I get scared in big swells and wind but keep going back for more. I am practicing courage.

I can teach you to stand on your head. Or how to grow punkins or herbs. I can teach you to swim like a fish.

I would like to learn Spanish. I would like to learn to type.

I can offer stories of daring do on the sub continent and beyond. I can cook a decent meal and do the washing up. I am good with Australian slang and hopeful can make you laugh. I can offer my honesty and reliability. I am a respectful guest laid back and easy going ready to fit into what ever is happening. I don't take up much space and am really neat and tidy.
