ABOUT ME

I am a Student... student of emotions, of intellectuality, and of human nature. I believe in living the Peace that I want to see in the world in my own life. I love exploring and adventures. I have the philosophy that I will try anything once. I have visited more than half of the states in the United States. I have lived in Texas, New Jersey, California, and Washington. I like to think that I approach everything with an open mind and strive to understand new cultures and different perspectives than my own. I have a younger brother and friends all over the world. I am an extreme extrovert; I honestly LOVE meeting new people!!

PHILOSOPHY

Constant self reflection. Be the change you want to see in the world. Approach all new situations from a place of love and understanding not confusion and distance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used couch surfing three times. I've been hosted all of France (I was studying abroad there in 2011.) I have hosted one couch surfer in my apartment and it was a great experience can't wait till next time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Normandie, Marseilles and in Paris, all very pleasant experiences! We shared stories, laughs, drinks, and I made some of my favorite memories from my time abroad with my new couch surfer friends. I have also hosted my best friend for an entire summer at my family home in Washington, and I've hosted in my apartment in California.

Dance, law, learning, walking, sitting and observing nature be in outside in its authentic state, in a zoo, or even people in a mall.

Books: The Great Gatsby (I read it on the train in Italy which just added to the experience.) The Portrait of Dorian Grey. The Harry Potter Series. EE Cummings, Oscar Wilde, Simone De Beauvoir, Camus.

Movies: Moulin Rouge, The God Father, Romeo and Juliet (the 1970's version), Casablanca, I love French Films, I love Woody Allen ... so many more that I can't even begin to list!

Music: It honestly depends what mood I'm in but it's very rare that I can ever listen to Country...unless it's Johnny Cash!

It's really gross but I swam in the Venice Canals in my underwear at midnight!
