About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Balkan music in Eastern Europe!

ABOUT ME

The underlaying theme is that I love to travel.

I own a graphic design studio in Seattle. I get to call myself the Creative Director but have the pleasure of endless hours of production work.

Since I am on the computer so much for work it's all about being analog outside of work. Building things, sewing, playing music (cello/banjo/keyboards), making art, drinking, making art with friends while drinking (ha!)...

My latest art obsession is science. For a while I thought I would quit design and just study science. I realize I can have both which pleases me to no end! Um yeah, I'm pretty nerdy.

PHILOSOPHY

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CouchSurfing, hosting, and spreading the word.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I CouchSurfed my way through Europe earlier this year (2009). This summer I got to host people traveling through Seattle. I am so grateful for the friendships that I made. Like minded people really do have a way of finding each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like hearing harmonics from electric guitars, campfire, sounds from the printing press, thunder, wind, forest sounds, classical instruments.

The last book I loved was Genius by James Gleick.

The last good movie I saw was Cinema Paradiso.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping for 2.5 months was a real good time. My latest feat is riding my bicycle from Seattle to Portland. That's 204 miles or 328 km. I got to ride these beautiful rolling hills in the midst of a thunder/lightning storm. It was stunning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I just got a table saw. Let's make stuff together!
