Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
just say yes.
ABOUT ME
I recently returned to Aus after 4 or so years away.. first backpacking in south america, then living in ireland and cruising around europe and other places when possible. i left there in aug 2010, set off around eastern europe and india before landing in Melbourne, which seems like it will be my home for a few years.
Before all of this craziness began, I lived in Canberra and Sydney, although I grew up in Perth. I've got a degree in economics/politics and I've had a few related jobs - now I'm a consultant health economist.
PHILOSOPHY
relax, have fun, but try not to miss anything and, once in a while, try to make stuff happen. realise that you can actually trust more people and situations than society would have you believe.. and random adventures are the essence of life.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the concept of couchsurfing. I meet up with people for drinks when they're in my town or when I'm in theirs.. and I'm happy to help people out with making plans for coming to my city. I have also been known to have a few (previous) strangers kicking about the couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with surfers in Brazil, Venezuela, the US, Canada, Portugal, Norway, Israel, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia and Romania.. and I've hosted a few surfers from the US, Germany and France. . many of whom i've managed to catch up with a few times.
I also met up with lots of travellers in Dublin for coffees and drinks and I have had the same pleasure from CSers in Kosovo, Israel, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Met people thru CS for Carnaval in Maastricht 2008.. and at Gay Pride in Brussels... and Ozora Festival in Hungary, 2010.
so many awesome people.

Música, películas y libros
funny, interesting, intriguing movies. my favourite aussie movies are lantana and the castle.
music that makes me feel something, puts me in a good mood and/or makes me want to dance.. especially electronic music (house, techno, psy mostly)
books that are written in an intriguing way about random things. i just read 100 years of solitude and thought that was awesome.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Burning man !
Enseña, aprende, comparte
well.. I know a lot about Australia. random facts that other people might term 'useless information' mostly. I'm interested in history and politics and I like to hear peoples' stories.
If you start up a conversation about most things I'll generally have some opinion on it I suppose. and the more drunk I am, the more you're likely to hear about it.
.. I also took up Spanish in South America and would love to be able to continue learning and practicing what I already know. Of course I'm happy to help anyone out with English as well, which I am reasonably good at :)
