Overview
About Me
I am very outgoing and social. I love dancing, cultural experiences, history, and music. I love exploring cities, learning new things, and trying new things. Currently I'm a self-employed piano teacher. I'm writing song material for a musical album I will be producing! In 2014 I adopted the goal of hiking all 48 4000 foot mountains in New Hampshire and tackled 9 of them during the summer. I wonder how many I'll do this summer? Let me know if you want to join me!
My favorite travel experiences have included swimming on a roof deck and staying up until 5am in Nashville crashing on someone's couch when I got locked out of my hotel, staying in the heart of an all African American community in Brooklyn, clubbing in the middle of nowhere in Alabama, hiking with a bunch of guys in New Hampshire, getting an insider's tour of Dreamworks studio, partying in a private club in Brooklyn with my friend DJing, going to an authentic Malaysian restaurant with my Malaysian friend for Chinese New Year, and exploring speakeasies in Manhattan with my Ugandan friend.
I am always up for any new experience, trying unique food, exploring unusual places, meeting people from other parts of the world, and trying new activities!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people when I travel and I also love hosting people. The hotel traveling experience is never as authentic as staying in people's homes and learning what the locals do.
