Overview
About Me
I recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia, from Madison, Wisconsin, where I earned my PhD in English. I'm currently teaching in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at Georgia Tech. I'm a creative writer (hybrid poetry-prose-playwriting and digital poetics) and scholarly writer (current projects are "Conceptual Theatre" and "American Plastic"). I'm also a multimedia performance artist! More info: https://katrinaschaag.wordpress.com/
My boyfriend, Andrew (pictured) recently completed his PhD in Art Theory and Practice. We make artwork collaboratively, and also curate experimental public events. We love avant-garde and contemporary art, theatre, film, and literature; and also kickboxing, dancing, and swimming. We love to travel, and we are both very polite and conscientious guests. We look forward to meeting you!
My pronouns are she/they, and Andrew's are he/him.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Andrew and I had a wonderful experience with Couchsurfing in Paris! Our lovely host seems to have deactivated her profile, so the reference is no longer showing up. I have unofficially crashed at many friends' and strangers' houses, and have also hosted many friends and strangers. I love meeting new people and learning from them! :)
