ABOUT ME

Hello there,
my name is Katrin I'm 27 years old and I come from Germany, but I feel home wherever I go in this world.
I live in a big house with my flatmates (6) in an old catholic City here
I'm a fun loving, open-minded, creativ, natural, energetic , highly organized and a little bit crazy person. I am a non-smoker and I love animals (vegetarian).
I love Music. My Instruments are Guitar, Keys and Saxophon.
In October 2010 I started to study popular music and media at UNI in Germany. As well as music I'm very much interested in Sports. Especially in Football/Soccer, Formula One Racing or Basketball.
I also like books but no particular one. Mostly like Childreenbooks. They're a full of fantasy, which inspires me for my lyrics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is a good project to meet people from other countries and other cultures.It´s interesting how these People are living, what they are eating, drinking, yeah everything.Experience their culture.
Through CS you also can build up friendchips all over the world and this is incredible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did lot of Couchsurfing in New Zealand, in Australia and in New York.
It was everytime funny, to meet so many different people. It made my adventure even bigger.
All of my hosts were amazing hosts, just pretty cool people, but sometimes a little bit weird as well(Whitianga)=)

Interests

Open for nearly everything, even when it makes no sense. I´m really much interested in Music or Football, like I already said.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sydney Opera House
I already lived 10 months in Australia, when I saw the Opera House for the first time. My heart was jumping when I realized that I am "really" in Australia. I started immediately to cry. The same I felt when I saw the Statue of Liberty in New York. An incredible moment of life.
