We are Karen and Katrine - to danish girls exploring the world together.. more specific Vietnam and India. We are both 21, and both interested in getting more knowledge about the various cultures and landscapes of the world.

We are new in the world of couchsurfing.. for the moment we are traveling and looking for nice people to visit.

Interests

We are both interested in literature, music, arts and culture and we share a good sense of humor.
Karen has a special interest in sports and is going to attend a boarding school specialized in skiing.
Katrine is also going to attend a creative boarding school which is specialized in films.

Music, Movies, and Books

We are both fond of reading great novels. On this trip (2 months so far) we have read books written by great authors like Fjodor Dostojevskij, Haruki Murakami, Michael Chabon and Arundhati Roy

When it comes to music we are really open to a lot of genres.. jazz, electronic music, classical, folk, rock, soul... too hard to pick out any specific favorite artist!

Katrine is especially interested in films and she would love discussing this topic with anyone sharing the same interest... Both of us really like the danish successful director Lars von Trier.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Vietnam we went through the central highlands on motorbikes... simply an amazing trip!

We really like the concept of couchsurfing which is not about crashing from couch to couch but about meeting new people, exchanging experiences, lifestyles and knowledge..
