HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just surfing at the moment.
I will move to a house in the countryside within the next year and will finally have room to host as well. I am always up for meeting up if time allows though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Enough to say that it's awesome.
I set up my profile for my work and travel year in Australia in 2011 and surfed with a couple of people, mostly with someone I traveled with. Those were truly amazing experiences.
The last time I surfed was while traveling in Canada in 2013 by myself. I don't really like traveling by myself, and prefer to share experiences, so I enjoyed couchsurfing even more, since I found so many people to hang out with. I stayed with 3 different hosts and met up with two others. One of them I visited in Australia two years later and he visited me in Germany in 2017. The other girl is one of my closest friends now. We met in Vancouver in 2013, then again in Australia, she visited me in Germany, we traveled South America together and there is more to come :)
I love this platform.

Interessen

Books:
I didn't read a lot in the past years, but listened to loads of audio-books. At the moment I am really into the Greg Iles and can't stop listening to his Natchez-series.

Movies:
12 Monkeys, The Fast and the Furious Movies, Baader - Meinhoff Komplex, Blow, Cloverfield, Elementarteilchen, IT (Stephen King), Fight Club, From Hell, Gothika, Hangover, Lord of the Rings (my all time favorite movies), Jumper, Run Lola Run, Lucky Number Slevin, Matrix, Memento, Resident Evil,Saw, Sherlock Holmes, Soldier James Ryan, The Bourne Triology, The Mechanic,The Transporter, When A Stranger Calls, X-Men .... there's a lot that I do like, but what I really can't stand are Quentin Tarantino movies. I always keep watching them cause I think maybe one day I'll find one that I like, but I didn't find one so far. Django Unchained was quite okay, that's my "favorite" so far.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- Riding 2500 km solo through Denmark on my motorbike, visiting tons of friends along the way.

- stumbled across my now- boyfriend in Peru in 2015.

- The first time breathing underwater, that was just astonishing.

- I did a skydive in 2011. Jumping out if a plane 4000 meters above ground was quite crazy and definitely an experience I'll never forget. Bungee Jumping is still on my to-do list.
