Overview
About Me
Love outdoors, seek for adventures, waiting for challenges.
At the moment I am studying Geography in Durham University (UK). I have been working as a tour guide in Tallinn for 4 years so know a lot about the city.
After I graduated from an international school UWC Red Cross Nordic in Norway I had a gap year and worked in Northern Norway, Tromso, as a dog musher and a guide. Apart from having a good time there, getting used to seeing northern lights almost every night and experiencing the feeling when 300 huskies howl together, I also learned how to go dog sledding and have done it quite a lot by now.
I am constantly looking for new adventures and challenges (which are not always necessarily wise) and love to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Nevertheless, I can never say no to cozy chats over a cup of tea. I am able to talk talk talk about anything from music, politics, environmental crisis, feminism and road engineering (had an experience, I manged).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find Couchsurfing as one of the best ways to experience new places and meet new people. People make up the place and if I'd never meet anyone when travelling I'd miss most of it.
Interests
I am quite adventurous and enjoy spending time outside, doing sport or different outdoor activities.
As I am studying Geography, I love nature, especially the Arctic and glacial studies.
I also have interest in music. My hobby is to play folk music on the violin or Estonian bagpipe.
Also, whenever there's a good vegetarian food, I want to get the recipe

Music, Movies, and Books
Music... I like music from different countries, I'd love to collect the best artists from around the world into my playlist. I like to change the type of music I'm listening so sometimes I listen jazz and classical music but some other time I turn on the radio for some electronic and pop music. When we meet, feel free to introduce your playlist :)
With movies I am not a very big fan of Hollywood. I have seen so many international movies that are much better than some Oscar-winning mainstream films. I love watching movies that give me something, either show me a new perspective or covey a message.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been on a dog sled with six dogs and got lost in Norwegian mountains. The dogs found the way home.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Estonian, how to make candles from clementines, my favorite banana-oatmeal cookies and as I'm a tour guide, overview of Estonian history and culture.
I'd love to learn some new recipes or know the best artists and movies from your country

I can make you a dinner and guarantee you a free couch whenever you come to Tallinn,
