Overview
About Me
We love to share food and our Tokyo east outskirts house with pet loving, non-smoking , not hard-drinking, courteous people happy to contribute 2,000 yen per person per night. We're comfortable with doing your laundry together with ours if not heavily soiled and you promise not to claim damage.
We have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years - gifts, Disney tickets, souvenirs and impulse purchases.
You might like to take some as free mementoes as we're decluttering ; so don't bring gifts
You can share our wholesome breakfast of garlic chicken/pork, milk, tea, coffee, veggies, bread, yoghurt...
We are located about one hour from Asakusa, Ueno, Odaiba, Omotesando, Disney......
We can drive you in our 5-seater Nissan to our local market less crowded & confusing than Tsukiji but as fresh and more economically priced due to lower rent.

We can also drive you to our favorite sento (public bath) for a tummy pummeling hydro massage, mineral, herbal, steam, sauna, ion baths.

Matsudo Isetan is a shopping pleasure less crowded & confusing than Shinjuku Isetan with an ancient temple and a Tokugawa Shogun's retreat nearby. The canals are cleanup success stories with eye-pleasing koi and other fish keeping mosquito larvae down too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Our house and stuff are underused. Our larders overstocked. We enjoy hosting.
Interests
If you plan nature trips, we can guide, and drive in exchange for your paying our incidental costs; we bear highway toll, gasoline, depreciation...
Neighborhood sushi bar half the price of high rent Tokyo's offers unlimited fish miso soup at lunch time weekdays.
