ABOUT ME

I am me! I am a bit quirky and happy and optimistic. I love life and traveling is my passion. When I stay in Calgary too long I get antsy. I can often be found meandering through the mountains on the weekend by foot, snowshoe, and most recently exploring by bike or skis. I am always busy and doing things because I don't like to stay still for too long. Sometimes I find that I am too busy to explore all the things I wish… but I guess I have my whole life to be curious. Sometimes my go go go attitude leaves me exhausted and I just need a break from it all.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for new adventures and experiences. Currently I am working on exploring the meaning behind on doing, being, and becoming. Continually being curious in the present moments and growing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed in the past. I am always up for meeting interesting people if I have the time. Drinks? Hikes? City adventures? I can also host every so often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went couch surfing for the first time in Chile with some lovely girls. I was hooked!

兴趣

Sunshine and rainbows... but actually anything that makes me happy. I really like outdoor explorations and meeting cool new people. Hiking, snowboarding or pretty much anything in the mountains is acceptable! I really like music... anything that is chill that you can mellow out to or that is happy and bouncy to put me in a happy mood. I love indie! I like playing random instruments and listening to live music. Also, I really like ice cream and cupcakes (it is a bit of a weakness of mine). I like public policy and sustainability (social, economic, environmental). One day I will keep bees because it is the only livestock you can harvest in the city (I don't think harvest is the right word…)

Anything that makes you think. I also love movies with subtitles. My goal is to learn another language so that I can actually speak it! Sometimes I know what they are saying in Spanish movies and I like how they are not translated exactly.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Giant stone heads on Easter Island! Such a tiny little island with amazing sights. Biking up an extinct volcano and having a picnic at the crater lake and watching the waves (sea water fascinates me).

I know a bit about psychology and forensic science... I am learning about occupational therapy (it is pretty cool!). I like the environment so feel free to teach me about that!
