i have just discovered couchsurfing some time ago, but lost track of it. but now i'm in again!

politics (im part of a feminist magazine), critical theory (i also write for that magazine), art&design (my job), film (and i organise film screenings, probably im a film freak...)

i constantly read and watch movies, some nicer ones lately? Films: Robert Bresson (watch!), Konrad Wolf and some other GDR-filmmakers, books: im reading the letter-exchange of Freud and Jung at the moment, which is very entertaining, Christian Kracht: "Imperium", Jean Amery: "Jenseits von Schuld und Sühne"... but theres so much more!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

the last thing that overwhelmed me was a documentary by french filmmaker jean rouch called "Chronique d'un été (Chronicle of a Summer)" - it's hard to explain, but there is a special kind of intimacy in the movie, the discussions and the people it introduces are both deeply political and personal, it's really touching.
