When asking my elders what it is they would have done differently during their 20's, the unanimous answer I've received is "I would have traveled more."
Those 5 words were the motivation that pushed me to go on my first solo backpacking trip... and the motivation that has lead me to never stop traveling.
It has become my greatest passion and, like anything you're passionate about, you ought to fight for it... work for it... believe in it... and, most importantly, cherish it always!!!

An alternative means of traveling-- one that detours away the "superficial" aspect of tourism and steers more towards granting an individual the ability to view matters from a different, personal, and more raw perspective.
