Hey! I'm a super avid solo traveler, trying out couchsurfing for the first time! I am a student from San Francisco, studying Music and English education in germany. I know, zero refrences, not the best CS option, but I'm super friendly, clean, and really would love to have a place to stay!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to meet locals who can show me a real idea of the city they live in or at least guide me to places that locals go. I get sick of hostel life, and think that it would be a much more authentic expeirence if I could see something that hostels and hotels can't show me.

Interests

I'm obsessed with travel and seeing everything I can on this amazing planet. I couldn't live without making, preforming, or listening to music. I'm super active and love hiking, biking, and yoga, I brew beer and roast coffee in my free time, and love doing taste tests of local food and drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love local music, and am always trying to meet and jam with other musicians. I enjoy electronic and have been getting into blues lately. My first love was classical music, but my tastes are more modern now.
Tarrintino and Wes Anderson are two of my favourite directors, but my tastes are super ecclectic, and I've been more into television lately.
I love reading, right now I'm reading a song of ice and fire series (Game of Thrones). My favourite author at the moment is probably Salinger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got attacked by a money in Cambodia, and have pictures to prove it.
I have sung Mozart as a solo with a full orchestra and choir to support me, and gotten paid to do it.
I can say cheers in 25 languages.
I hate bragging, but obviously will do it shamelessly on the internet.

I can teach you english, I would love to give some singing lessons, it would be great to share some music, and I'm up to learning anything! I am really open minded and love sharing opinions about politics, religion, or simply the state of the world.
