I'm Katy! An acrobat/ travel bug who loves nature, playing board games with friends, hiking in the mountains, reading, cooking, pretending I can sing and dance while listening to bluegrass or jazz and meeting new people. Generally I travel with my partner Miky and live a very happy life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While traveling we have been using Miky's profile for couchsurfing but I think it's time for me to make one of my own as I have some solo travels coming up! I love meeting new people and truly experiencing the cities and towns that I travel to. Miky and I moved to Las Vegas, NV last year for work and are now settled and looking forward to hosting adventurous couch surfers and new climbing friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love bluegrass, jazz, folk, indie and psychedelic rock. It's difficult to name a favorite musician/ group, Trampled by Turtles will always be high on my list because they are a bluegrass band from my home.

I watch more TV shows than movies, currently enjoying The Office and Game of Thrones. Intermittently watching Rick and Morty, New Girl, and random documentaries.

I generally read mostly historical fiction but am slowly transitioning into utopia's and dystopia's. I have a difficult time choosing favorite things because I love so many! Currently reading The Island by Huxley.

I love sharing travel stories and playing board games! I also love cooking so always happy to share a meal.
