My name is Katy! I'm traveling around Europe until September when I start Graduate school. I study Early Modern British History. I am completely obsessed with anything to do with Henry VIII. I also study museums and someday hope to work in one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love traveling and I would like to meet new friends and learn about different cultures. It sounds cliche for sure, but I definitely think it's way better to meet locals rather than stick to hostels where you meet mainly other tourists!

I am super obsessed with a band called the 1975 but lately I have also been listening to alot of Tame Impala. I'm kind of funny about music, I can listen to the same thing for years!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've raised a human so that was pretty cool! This is kind of a hard question, but if it has to be travel related I would say traveling to Thailand for the first time (by myself) was probably the most amazing thing I have done. I was super young and I had never left the United States before, so it was pretty incredible. Definitely changed my life!
