About Me
I am taking some time off before studying at university, and I can't think of a better way to learn about myself and the world around me than to travel. I want to meet people, hear their stories, and make some of my own. And, as always, eat a lot of really good food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is a great way to meet local people, really get a feel for the culture, and make connections.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm down to listen to some live folk music as well as a punk rock band; if I'm dancing, I'm happy. My favorite books are are Beloved, The Road, and The Picture of Dorian Gray. My favorite movie is Delicatessen (so far).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking the Long Trail across Vermont has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I have done. It made me push myself physically and emotionally, and I am more capable today because of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied French all through school, but I am definitely out of practice, so I would love to learn though travel. In the same light, I am happy to share what I know about English. I think that local culture is also expressed through food, so I would love to learn some traditional meals and flavors of the places that I visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, even though I am not always great at it. It's a really interesting way for me to learn about the local culture.
