Hello, I'm Katy, I'm 22 years old and I studied German at the university of Birmingham from 2011 to 2015, and lived and worked in Hannover for my year abroad as part of my degree. I'm outgoing and friendly, and look forward to meeting you!

Guten Tag, Ich bin Georg. I am also 22 and also studied German Studies and Philosophy at Birmingham with Katy. I lived in Rostock for a year and taught English in a local Grundschule. I absolutely loved getting to know the Erasmus community there, meeting lots of different and interesting people and travelling around the country and then later on around Europe. Unfortunately this means we wont be able to host anyone in Watford anytime soon yet, not until we're back from our travels!

We are not a couple, just good friends from school :)

We're new to Couchsurfing as well, so we don't have any references yet, but please give us a chance to prove to you how much fun we are and how great a time we can have meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are planning on travelling around Germany from September 2016 to improve our German, have a great time and meet interesting people. What better way to improve our German than stay with real Germans - and hopefully become friends!

Interests

The most important thing for us on our travels is having a good time, meeting new people, and learning more about different cultures and lifestyles. We don't want to treat Couchsurfing like a hotel or air bnb, so can offer delicious meals, great company and English tuition in return, as well as lasting friendships.

We both love football (Katy is a Watford fan and George supports Arsenal), and we would love to watch your local team play if that is an interest of yours.
Katy wants to get involved with a field hockey team so if you can help with that please sag bescheid! The same for George with football.
