ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old journalist who is taking some time off to travel around South America for a year or so. I am originally from Atlanta, GA but have bounced around the U.S. for the past couple of years. I hope to engage with local cultures and explore new environments as I travel through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. I think life is all about the people you choose to spend it with, which is why I choose to couchsurf. Everyone has a story that should be told. I would love to be that person you choose to tell it to.

Right now I can only surf since I am traveling. Once I am back in the U.S. I would love to share my place with you in Atlanta, GA.

I don't have much yet but I am a newbie. Everyone has to start somewhere though :)

My passion lies in the environment and helping conserve our beautiful planet. I have a YouTube channel where I make videos about different environmental topics or sustainability tips, along with fun videos about my adventures around the globe.

I am also HUGE adrenaline junkie and love to be adventurous outside. I used to be a whitewater rafting guide and I currently enjoy rock climbing and yoga. I also love hiking, camping, bike riding, playing basketball, or just going for a casual walk.

I love to dive into conversations about philosophy and the meaning of life. What is your purpose for being on this planet? I'd love to talk about it!

I watch a lot of documentaries. Most revolve around the environment or social issues. I love comedies too, but being a history nerd, my favorite movies are historical mysteries, like "The Da Vinci Code". I listen sorts of music from Frank Sinatra, to The Avett Brothers, to Umphrey's McGee, to Zac Brown Band. Books... I mainly read books about environmental issues, along with mysteries or anything that catches my eye. I am not picky.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

El Camino del Rey... DO IT! It is one of the most dangerous pathways in the world located in El Chorro, Spain, but it was one of the coolest things I have ever done. Proceed with caution but enjoy every minute of it.

Whitewater Rafting down the Grand Canyon.. definitely an experience I will never forget. I have to thank my mom and dad for that one. It is a little pricey.

I think everyone should go skydiving at least once.
