Hello, everyone! My name is Katya. I am 27. I live in the heart of Siberia and Russia, in Koltsovo, a science town located near Novosibirsk. I am happily married and have a baby-boy (born in 2013).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I dream to see the world and hope my kid will investigate it with me. I would like to know other cultures, languages and people. I want to examine that trough communication and new connections.

I cannot be a host because there is only one room in my apartment, but I will be glad to meet with other people visiting Novosibirsk. As a traveler I am interested to be on a visit to families with children. I do not leave my kid at home during a trip and that is why I prefer family hosts. And, of course, I will be pleased to communicate with other people too.

Interests

I am in love with a language and my life is concerned with it. Currently I am working on my first book (in Russian) and teach students in a language school (English). Also I try to study Italian, but it happens not often because of my little son. I love my family and life. I am a vegetarian. I am interested in yoga, travelling, other cultures, communication and friends, deliberate eating and life, ecology. I like classical music and contemporary literature.

I can share with you my knowledges in Russian and English. I can read for your children in Russian and English. I can cook for you a meal. I can even bring you a pack of buckwheat, from Russia with love:)
