I’m Katya ( you can call me as Kate or Katrin, it really doesn’t matter), 22 years old. I study at HSE in Moscow and now I’m getting master degree in marketing.

Also I’m really keen on dancing, singing (only in the bathroom, while no one can watch it or listen to🤫), traveling with my lovely family or friends and photo shooting by my phone, then edit it a little.

Friends consider that I’m energetic person that even doesn’t need any charge for a few days, but actually they just don’t know some important secrets

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m communicative person and always want to find out more about people. I have a mission, so to say, to know more about different nationalities, to understand their culture, to make friends and even maybe to ruin some myths and stereotypes about countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I’ve just mentioned, I listen to everything that fits my mood, and it can differ from rock to pop music. For instance, now my besties are: FOALS, Florence+the Machine, Coldplay, MONATIK, AnnenMayKantereit, Sevdaliza, Cream Soda and many others.

As for the movies, I’m not an expert, but I admire the films and shows with the beautiful color correction and operation work. For example, the aesthetics of Netflix episodes of “Dark” is amazing! ( and soundtracks!!!). Also I’m delighted with the roles of Benedict Cumberbatch and his wonderful British accent!
By the way, the top 3 films of my own includes A Beautiful Mind (2001), The Imitation Game (2014), The King's Speech (2010) and Ford VS Ferrari (2019).

I enjoy reading some literature about marketing, fiction books about love ( something smooth) and really like detectives! The most exciting book I’ve read recently was „A Thousand Splendid Suns“.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled for 2 weeks by car along the Crimea seaside and lived in the camps.
