About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hellbent on confirming the existence of the rest of the world since 1989.
ABOUT ME
I'm a ponderous combination of city girl and forester, currently making a glamorous tour of BFE to do my job. This involves a lot of running back and forth to Portland, and a rural transit network with very little service. Which means a lot of need for overnighters with CS members!
Interests
I love building/making stuff. Passions include photography and botany. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, the outdoors, arty shit, healthy shit, fire, East Asian history/language, science of all sorts, fishing and too many other things to list. I'm also interested in forming a scooter gang.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically, my first love is probably early 90's post-hardcore, though I nurture a serious soft spot for indie rock, industrial, and speed metal. Not a fan of new country, smooth jazz or mainstream rap, but I can get down with most anything else. Can't get enough of Tim Healey and White Rabbits lately.
Books... my tastes tend toward non-fiction, sci-fi, fantasy and what would collectively be called "non-Western lit." Classics are cool, too. But not Austen.
Movies... I'll take an action movie over rom-coms and girly-flicks any day. Though I tend to prefer really cerebral thrillers, comedies (the blacker, the better), good fantasy/sci-fi... and I'll watch damn near anything made in the 80's. Yet one of my favorite cinematic experiences was the silent movie "Piccadilly" set to an original score performed by a live band. I also love "Super Troopers." Go figure.
I promise I'm not an asshole -- just specific.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was actually on one of those infamous Asian trains. You know... the kind you see on YouTube so jammed with people that special rail employees in white gloves have to come and shove everyone in to make sure the doors shut properly. There. That scratches the surface. I am a fabulous storyteller who will tell you all kinds of crazy stuff!
