About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting new people to learn their culture through their perspective

ABOUT ME

I travel with my husband, we are always together and like to make friends with people, because a place is really 95% people. Everything else is supplementary - architecture, nature, cafes, restaurants, theaters, etc. The people who live in a city are really the ones that make a place, that are its soul and spirit. We, for instance, are part of St. Petersburg. I am born and raised here and am an author of one of the "Ghosts of St. Petersburg" tours, just because I couldn't bear the thought that tourists here had to be on boring walking tours. The city is chock-full of literature, novels and stories that took place here, that there is plenty of substance to make a story out of it, in which you can also participate interactively. So you will not be bored when you are with us. We will try to show you the real St. Petersburg and you won't be just scratching the surface here.

Interests

My husband is a manager of a jazz-band, so we have many friends who are in the music business and who are music students here at conservatoire, etc. I work in clinical research. We are members of a local Rotary Club and a French conversation club. We learn different languages. I speak fluent English, French, Russian and Hebrew. One of our hobbies is reading and studying the Bible - we really want to understand this great book.
