About Me
I haven't been on my CS page for 5 years (because I stopped to be a host and stopped to travel as CS guest, the era of hostels began for me). nevertheless I decided to refresh my page and blow away dust of years) I need to improve my English, I'd like to find a person with whom I can interchange mothertongues - I can teach you Russian, you can improve my English.

about me:
born in Siberia and raised in Kazakhstan, in the most beautiful city of Almaty (if you haven't been there yet - you definitely should go there - it is amazing at any season). I've been living in St.Petersburg for 10 years and I love this city, though it is gloomy and wet approximately always.

Music, Movies, and Books
my favorite book is Gerald Durrell's "My family and other animals". I love it since childhood. not very good written book, but very lively and cheerful.
I'm really fond of Peter Jackson, he is a proper fimmaker, same as Werner Herzog, for example. I like cinema, it makes me think life got sense.
I like music, but I'm not good in choosing it. I like electronic, trip hop, synthpop... portishead, knife for example.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A lot of. It's so easy to amaze me:) Last time I've got amazed while me and my friend were sitting in a tiny café for locals in Istanbul, surrounded by turkish old gentlemen, they were plenty and no one could speak even a word in english but anyway we had a nice conversation together and I even got the adress of one of them and wrote him a letter... I was amazed how openminded people can be. So you see, you don't need to do much to impress me:)
