ABOUT ME

I socially drink (rarely get drunk) but enjoy going out and visiting new bars. I work for a public school district in a suburb north of Chicago and I am a full time student. I work August through June then try to travel and explore during my time off. I live with my sister and we have two cats. Lewis and Walter. Lewis is named after singer/song writer Jenny Lewis and Walter is named after comedian Michael Showalter. I have faith but am very liberal in my political stance.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not believe believe in regrets. There is a lesson or strength to be gained in everything that goes wrong.

I have not had any Couch Surfing experiences YET, but hope to in the near future.

Interests

During the typical school year I work full time and go to night school full time. When I have free time I often find myself going to concerts or hanging out with friends in some sort of dive bar. During the summers I enjoy traveling or laying on the beach with a Charles Bukowski book.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I enjoy Rockabilly, Psychcobilly, Punk, Classic Rock, Indie and when I am in a dancing mood 80s Pop or Hip Hop.Movies- I love movie. I have a decent DVD collection pilling up as well as a Netflix account. I enjoy going to the movies and curling up on the couch to watch one.Books- August-May I read all text books. During the summer months I really enjoy picking up a Charles Bukowski book or a book by a comedian (Michael Ian Black, Amy Sedaris)
