ABOUT ME

So, my name is Katy and I recently graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

I lived in Paris the summer after my sophomore year to study photography and had the absolute time of my life.

I like to think I'm a pretty friendly, optimistic person for the most part. Also, being a photographer, I tend to appreciate the little wonders of the everyday world, like a beautiful day or toothy smile.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for those little moments when you look all around you, and all you can see for miles is the sunshine and smiles and rampant passion of people celebrating being together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived and worked in Tanzania for a month on a mission trip, helping to build a new elementary school for an orphanage. It set me on the right course for my life.
