About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Collector of faces and moments in time with the help of my trusty sidekick, Carl the Canon AE-1
ABOUT ME
I am more of an image person than a word person. Words are sloppy and confusing... but i guess art is the same way. The best way to describe myself is probably to just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE pie and I take about ten million photographs when I can and I like colors. Especially orange although that generally clashes with my red hair (not that I worry about that much because my favorite shirt is orange...)
PHILOSOPHY
I feel very strongly that people in beginning creative writing classes (i.e. me) should never write about broken hearts because it is rather cliche. It also just ends up being an embarrassing situation... although maybe good material for the next story.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: If you haven't read Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins, stop reading this and go buy it/borrow it/use the force to get it. Seriously, best book ever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I met a man in Casablanca, Morocco who collects clocks. 2.5 million dollars worth of ticking, chiming, chirping clocks to be exact. He was lovely. He said that he was unable to sleep anywhere else because he was so used to sleeping with the sounds of antique clocks that he couldn't fall asleep without them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to do language exchanges. I am currently trying to learn French (but having a hard time) so I would love to meet with anyone who would like to speak a little bit of French and a little bit of English. I am also interested in learning a little Spanish or Hebrew. And really, any other language is welcome as well. I also really enjoy working on art with people (I am a photographer but I have taught myself most of what I know so I am always looking for helpful tips) and my roommates and I love sharing cooking tips as well as learning a bit more about cooking from others!
