About Me
ABOUT ME
I was born on a Wednesday. You can bribe me easily with chocolate and ice cream. I can't stand plastic bags and chewing gum on pavements. I'm a coffee addict; there is no smell like the smell of a newly opened coffee bag in the morning. I don't give up easily. I like singing and dancing, but I can't do either one. I have a good sense of direction, but I am a horrible driver. And I like the books on my shelves to be in order.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Usually, I participate by showing some famous or hidden bits and pieces of my city to those who wish to learn about it. I'm a walking partner and a talker, sometimes a history and culture interpreter.
When the situation is reverse I keep walking, but tend to ask a lot of questions along the way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly quite positive, some even better.
Interests
I enjoy philosophy in all its forms. I like talking about politics. I like things starting with an L: linguistics, languages, literature.
I was born without competitive nature, I enjoy sports without the imperative to win. Watching them bores me. Jogging, riding bikes, hiking, playing tennis and volleyball, swimming and skiing I already do. I run half-marathons. I want to learn how to snowboard. Some extreme sports would also be fun to try - bungee jumping, sky diving, paragliding.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not artistically gifted whatsoever but that doesn't prevent me from enjoying art in different ways, shapes or forms. I read everything and anything that deals with philosophy, covering a wide range of stuff written: from Plato to Bukowski, from Dostoyevsky to the Catcher in the Rye, ancient mythologies and modern religions, to some comic books as well (Allan Ford, Calvin and Hobbes). I like cartoons and I never get tired of watching them, especially the old Soviet animations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Perhaps the most incredible thing to me is the fact that I enter some digits into a phone and the next thing I hear is my mom on the other side of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me about your country, and about your language. Teach me how to write in it, or how to say hi. Teach me an untranslatable word. Tell me about your favorite writer or translate your favorite poem for me. Share some good music or movies. Perhaps I could do the same for you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Ice cream, walks and talks.
