Overview
About Me
I am a Mechanical Engineer, who after a stint in an IT-MNC felt the need to do a Post graduation degree in Management. I am a photographer and a blogger. A traveler when the opportunity arises, and a foodie. A free spirit, is how I would like to describe myself, but currently bound by the chains of necessity, hence am resting on the ground as of now.
Settled in Pune till 2017.
I dream of getting far away from the hustle bustle of the city, the deadlines, the paychecks, find a soulmate and be lost in the natural wilderness....along with my camera off course.
If you would like to have a look at my work, find me here: www.senkaustav.wordpress.com
Cheers!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am interested in meeting new people, getting to know them, the cultures and rituals, the food and get the local essence of a place. Bound within the suit wearing, number crunching shell, I am a wanderer and one fine day it shall break free. When it does, I would like to say that in the process, I made friends from all over places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first bike ride was from Pondicherry to Chennai. Total round trip took 9 hours, owing to darkness while coming back. Battled immense back pain and avoided a couple of accidents and made it back to my friends, in one piece.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach photography. That one thing I can do properly. One of the things that I have learnt from scratch all by myself.
Learning is a never ending process for me, if you shall teach, then you shall find a student in me always.
Sharing knowledge on common grounds is absolutely fine by me. I ll learn something from you, and you may learn something from me.
Can also share locations of awesome food joints in the localities :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share life experiences, fun stories, things about culture, about my community and the places I have visited. I can share knowledge about photography and if interested, teach too. I can cook some Bengali dishes up too.
