Overview
About Me
An ad-hoc traveler sometimes with or without the kids.
You have ONLY one life, so no regrets and no "i wish.."
In the past, traveled extensively with kids, especially to India, where in a 30-day trip, we hardly stayed longer than one night in each hotel! Kids are so flexible, teach them that travelling is an adventure, even if it means unpacking and packing within 24 hrs.
Have traveled solo recently, backpacking and very low budget ...Have feet will travel. Have smile, will get by.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finished my degree and traveled 'til I had 8.43 cents in my bank account, Saw the Indy 500 races, Hitchhiked, went in a canoe, flown in a 10 seater to the interiors of Borneo during my honeymoon (mehendi still on my hands), Drove from South to North island in New Zealand, Saw an erupting volcano in Hawai'i and walked close enough to melt my shoes, Cycled through the entire Angkor Wat, Trekked in the oldest rainforest in Malaysia and saw a black panther, heard wild dogs howl and bumped into a bear that stole my clothes and food, Swam with baby tiger sharks and kept diving near trigger fish off East coast islands of Malaysia, Backpacked alone and lived in dorms in Sydney and Bangkok and walked barefoot in the cities, Climbed a volcanic mountain (read: sand and stones and up to 45 degrees incline) and skied down on my butt using my trekking poles as ski poles...amongst other things!
Besides the above and the adrenaline junkie stuff, starting my life over at 42
