Overview
About Me
I like to think of myself as a nomad. I've spent most of my adult life finding any excuse to travel and have been defined by those experiences. I find value in life through interactions with people, and surfed a handful of times on CS during my trips. I've always wanted to give back and be a host and finally have a chance now as I'm semi-settled in Hawaii for the time being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of not just being a tourist and walking around looking at old buildings, but actually talking to people living in the culture I am trying to experience. I've realized that these interactions mean a thousand times more than looking at bricks and stone. As a host I hope to provide the same environment that I've been so lucky to receive as a guest.
Interests
Too much for a little box! I'll start with a few.
Food and cooking, listening to emotional music, talking about any subject for a long time, beer that tastes good, discovering science and technology, learning languages, solving mysteries, asking questions, playing football (the non-american kind), cooperative games of any kind, hiking/camping/backpacking, climbing to the tops of things, political satire, learning about different religions, dreaming i could speak every language on earth or witness any moment in the past... i could go on...
