If there’s something I would like to continue doing is travelling around the world and meeting up with people from around the world. I have great interest in exploring and experiencing different cultures because I somehow find that rather enriching or fulfilling.

I was born to a Singaporean mother and Japanese father, but I've essentially spent my whole life in Singapore, though Japanese culture and society is still something I’m familiar with. Currently serving mandatory military service which has in a way limited my chances to travel around the world. But nonetheless I seize any opportunity to travel!

In the meantime, I'm still thinking about where I would like to pursue my higher education but it seems like I have a preference towards universities in the United States and Japan.

And that is meeting up with someone from overseas whom I’ve gotten to know on platforms such as this app and that was a surreal experience for me.
