Overview
About Me
My name is Ka Wai but my friend sometimes call me "Moka", like the coffee, because it is easier to remember.
I am now staying in Austria as an exchange student and trying to reach the world.
Everything in the world can be interesting. It just depends on how you are going to deal with it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is always good to meet people and listen to their stories.
People I met during the trip composed my whole journey. Sometimes I would feel regret that I should have started a conversation or talked more with a person. Couchsurfing is a magical place as you will know more about a person even just by hanging out for couple of hours.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am up for all kinds of music and especially pop because I can sing along hahaahaa
I am recently really into Hong Kong films. The most interesting thing is that I, as a spectator, am looking at Hong Kong in a frame and from other's the point of view. They sometimes present a different Hong Kong from everyday life and what I see. If you are interested in it, I will definitely introduce you some.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Enjoying my exchange life in a small city in Austria.
- Having my internship in Tunisia which aroused my interest to know more about the world and people.
- Trying to communicate with a camel in Sahara desert.
- Going to the house of a shop keeper I had just met to have dinner with his big family and noticed after arrival that they were having ceremony of the circumcision of a little boy...
- Getting into an abandon amusement park from a hole on the ground and the hole was blocked by a big rock when we were about to come out.
Teach, Learn, Share
It is by no doubt that Cantonese, which is my mother tongue, is one of the most difficult languages to learn in the world. I can teach you some survival Cantonese in case if you are coming to and unfortunately getting into trouble in Hong Kong. (Hopefully it will never happen and we basically speck some English)
And also I can share with you some Hong Kong dishes if you trust me (at least I promise I won't burn your kitchen).
What I Can Share with Hosts

Life long stories
Chinese/Hong Kong style dishes
and my nosey voice and laugh hahaahaaa
