Overview
About Me
My name is Edgar, I'm a respectuous person, I like to explore, discover and learn new things. I love to travel and share experiences.
For many years I have traveled for different reasons, I have been in all kinds of places enjoying many adventures with many people.
I currently live in Lleida (Catalonia) but I am from Sagunto (Valencia).
I have had very different jobs, currently I work as a teacher of adult education in subjects related to agriculture, forestry and the environment in general which a I fond of because it's a way to comunicate my passion for the nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended it to me before a trip which I was going to do alone, he told me that knowing me he thought I would like it because I like to share experiences with new people and I adapt quite well to different places and situations.
I like to meet people who live in the places I visit and listen to their recommendations and opinions about the places where I am. It is a way to enrich the trip and make it more interesting.
I also like to show and make feel comfortable to travelers who want to discover new places, I try to make the trip and the adventure as easy as I would like them to make it easy for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a wide variety of music genres, 70's/80's hard rock, singer-songwriters, reggae, rock and roll, etc.
Some of my favorite bands are Johnny Cash, The rolling stones, Extremoduro, Rosendo, Oasis, Kortatu, Manu chao, LCDM, Obrint Pas, Zoo and many more.
Some of my favorite book authors are Gabriel García Márquez, Eduardo Galeano, Stefano Mancuso, Joaquín Araujo or Tolkien although I also read about politics, travels, etc.
About cinema, I also like to watch movies about mafia, auteur cinema...and documentaries about history and nature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled through Central America when I was 25 years old, a few years before I had also been to Guatemala and Mexico, which changed my life and made me love the American continent and traveling while a was knowing its people and their lifes. Since then I try to travel and discover new places whenever I can, either close to home or on the other side of the world. For me, what matters is not the place you intend to get to but what happens while you get there and the people you meet there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to provide interesesting experiencies, good tips around the city, nature...and maybe yummy recipes!
