I'm heading out to California for the summer to hang out in Los Angeles, visit friends in San Luis Obispo and house sit in San Francisco.

This is my first BIG solo trip and my first time using Couch Surfing. I live a really peaceful lifestyle, I practice yoga. I'm also really into hiking and anything to do with the open water.

- Cooking: I LOVE to cook for people. I can cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, anything. I just love making meals.

- Welsh culture: We're a funny bunch us Welsh. Though I'm a scientist, I'm very aware of my spiritual ancestry, which can make for some entertaining conversation.

- Music: Any form of live music is ideal. I always like to get involved with jammin' too.

- European cultures: I grew up all over the continent.

- Degree topics studied: GIS, Developing World, Geographies of Narcotics, Climate Change, Politics of the Environment, International Politics, Dendrochronology, Renewable Energies, Cultures of Hong Kong...etc etc

- I can also keep myself to myself. If hosts are more private, I'm more than comfortable entertaining myself.
