CURRENT MISSION
Always caring, never serious.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Kay! I have a unique, downright silly sense of humor and am particular with details. At the same time, I'm flexible and I approach new people and situations with a friendly, open heart. I like to focus on making sure the people around me are comfortable and happy, and I try do awesome things, especially when they scare me. I've got useful math skills and can probably help you with your homework (math or otherwise). I'm an excellent listener and I clean up after myself.
PHILOSOPHY
"While I'm alive I'll feel alive, and what's next? I guess I'll know when I've gotten there"
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I tell people about couchsurfing and what wonderful people you can meet doing it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I need to remind myself to be generous, I just think of my first couchsurfing experience. I hitchhiked and couchsurfed around central Europe, and got to experience extreme hospitality from many strangers I would now call friends. The whole experience has helped me thoroughly convince myself that people can be wonderful to each other.
Centres d'intérêt
Karaoke, swing dancing, and most other types of singing and dancing fill me up with joy. I also love to go camping, hiking, and bicycle riding. I enjoy board games more than most people, am a fan of bowling and airhockey, and I love to cook for friends. Trains and airplanes make me excited.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I saw my first moonrise over a snow covered mountain in the wilderness near Lake Tahoe while camping above a waterfall. I was absolutely surprised and in awe.
I taught a class of sixth graders their first school-lesson on circles, and was able to convince them that circles are uniquely defined by a center and a radius, and they got excited about it! It was heartwarming.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can help you with math, whether it's calculating some numbers that apply to your life (bills, craft materials, curiosity) or helping you with your calculus (and beyond!) homework. I'm also decent at editing writing and would love to practice my Spanish with people. I can do very basic bicycle repairs, and I like to help build stuff.
