About Me
*****I’ll not accept any friend requests from strangers or never message back to them unless they’re willing to stay at my place. I’m not here to make online friends that I’ll never get to meet. Thanks********
Hello, my future hosts or guests:) My name is Kaya from Nara, Japan. I live in the city called Kashihara which is known as the birthplace of Japan.
My profile says I’m located in Nara but I DON’T live near the famous deer park or Todaiji temple. So please note that it takes about 40 mins by train from my place to Nara station. If you are looking for a host around that area, my place may not be very ideal for you.
But I can say Kashihara is a perfect place if you want to avoid crowds and feel close to locals. It’s small but nice and quiet. You can see the local side of Japan.
I have used Couchsurfing when I was in Australia. I lived there for 2 years and also lived in New Zealand for 15 months. Traveling is my biggest passion❤️ I love getting to know new places, cultures, food (my another passion 😋) and PEOPLE!! Thanks to my travel histories, I have met a lot of great people from all over the world and hoping to meet many more through CS!
I’m teaching English at an elementary school in Kashihara. Yes, I’m a school teacher 👩🏫
But I’m planning to leave work next year (2025) to do a big backpacking trip around the world for a year or so.
It’ll be awesome to meet a lot of travelers and get some tips for my upcoming adventures 😊
Looking forward to meeting you all!
