Call me Kaya. I am from Poland, I moved to England in 2012 and I currently live in Bristol. I also lived in Iceland for a bit during this period. I am a painter - I paint on canvas - trying to build up my own shop with my art works. I studied Art&Design, Photography and Make-Up.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because as I like new things - I like being in new places, I wanted to encourage myself to travel more, meet new people, and get some more confidence. Most important - I believe that everyone we ever meet in our lives knows something, that we don't. Also, going back from different place I always feel relieved, I always feel that I just get new good memory and it's always good going back home with a new adventure behind you.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music - Mostly alternative/psychodelic rock, metalcore, chill/dub-step, rn'b, indie pop, pop rock. My favourite band is Paramore since a very long time - obviously it's one of my biggest dreams to see them playing. I really also like one of the Pink Floyd's album (The dark side of the moon), Archive is the band that I like listening a lot for myself. (One of my favourite album is "You all look the same to me").
Florence and the machine, Flyleaf, Bring me the Horizon, Angus and Julia, Radiohead, The neighbourhood, Portishead, Christina Aquilera and loads of different..
I also attended for few music concerts such as Flux Pavilion, Datsik, Asking Alexandria, Crown the Empire, Tonight Alive, Black veil Brides, Fearless vampire killers, Apocaliptica, The Pretty Reckless, Nothing More..

Movies: Tbh I watch a lot of movies all the time, I am also fan of Harry Potter and Hunger Games, Twilight, I used to watch a lot of British, Polish, Spanish and American serials (UK&USA: TVD, TWD, GOT, The originals, Misfits, Skins, Sex in the City, Being Human, HIMYM, Charmed, Monk..) My favourite movie is ''Into the Wild''

Books: I mostly read books in my language, usually it is Drama, Romance, Biography, Sci-fi, psycholigic. I also own a dream book that I am checking quite often. Few books that I can recomend are: ''Body Language'' by Allan & Barbara Pease (Psychology & Psychiatry), ''11 minutes'' by Paulo Coelho, ''Of Mice and Men'' by John Steinbeck, ''One day'' by David Nicholls, ''Confidence'' by Alan Loy McGinnis.
