I'm a startup guy. Currently I'm a product designer at a small tech startup. In a former life I was an architect. I enjoy healthy exercise, cooking tasty meals, idealing urbanism, romanticizing rurality. I think a positive outlook on the world is good for everyone, though I tend to be a bit more on the pragmatic side.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet interesting people when I travel, especially to learn more about local traditions. And I would love to help people who are visiting Atlanta to learn more about its quirky neighborhoods.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A bunch of friends and I drove across the United States from Atlanta to San Diego in 36 hours flat, as in departed early Tuesday morning and arrived Wednesday afternoon. We were driving a truck with a giant trailer full of kayaks in tow. Crazy!

I met James Watson (one of the guys that discovered the helical configuration of DNA)! Twice!
