About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To finish school in under 10 years!
ABOUT ME
I am a first year nursing student at the University of Calgary.
I have a degree in Social Work from Toronto
I just moved to Calgary two months ago!
I am liberally minded, try to reduce my ecological foot print and like to give back whenever possible. I am a believer in karma, good energy and laughter.
I enjoy biking, camping, going to the beach, hiking, camp fires, and scenic drives!
PHILOSOPHY
“as the traveler who has once been from home is wiser than he who has never left his own doorstep,so a knowledge of one other culture should sharpen our ability to scrutinize more steadily , to appreciate more lovingly , our own.”
Margaret Mead
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would be happy to show like-minded people around the city or provide you with any local information. I haven't been living in Calgary for too long but would be happy to occasionally host if I'm not overloaded with school work and to meet new people traveling through Calgary.
For my own personal security, I will only host female travellers.
I know some pretty cool business to get up to and would like to be able to share that with others.
In the past other couchsurfers have been able to show me around locally and make me feel apart of their lives, so I would like to be able to "pay-it-forward" if you will.
