Overview
About Me
I'm a student in Lawrence, KS, the liberal pocket of a fiercely red state. When I'm not reading or writing for school, I'm spending time with one of my 9 roommates in our beautiful co-op, writing music reviews, managing a staff of music reviewers for a college radio station, sleeping in a hammock, re-reading Stephen King's, The Stand, plucking around on a stringed instrument, watching the sun and the sky, cooking for someone I love, dancing, and so much more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As soon as I have my own space, I'd like to host people. Before and after then, I'd like to surf. I've couchsurfed through my own social networks, but I'm starting to travel outside the bounds of those. I cherish stories more than anything, and humans are full of those. Transitory connection with another human is invaluable to me, and couchsurfing provides a physical place for that connection to happen. Plus, I can't afford airbnb, let alone a hotel. And I love cooking breakfast for people. I'll make you the best dang fried egg of your life.
