ABOUT ME

June of 2013 I was bitten by the travel bug. I had traveled as a teenager, but had never ventured out on my own until being invited by a good friend to backpack South America, and I have been making travel plans ever since. Right now I am in Australia with a car, driving 20k kms round the whole country. Picking up other travelers along the way and am having a challenging yet amazing time!

PHILOSOPHY

Although I do get scared, I am always afraid of waking up one day and it having been too late to do everything I wanted to do. I do realize that there are things I will miss out on, but I want to do everything possible, as sensibly as possible. Sometimes I wait until the last minute, but it gets done.
Things I've learned lately: don't assume anything. don't get too attached to an idea. If you're in a jam, deal with it, sleep, and tomorrow will be a new day full of whatever you want it to be.

Anyone who stays at my house or if I stay with someone, I can give free haircuts :-) <3bartering.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had people stay with me in the past and hadn't stayed with anyone until June of 2013 and had the greatest experiences ever. Couchsurfed in many places in South America and Australia and will host as soon as I'm able. Until then I can always help someone enjoy this gorgeous city!

Outdoors and hikes. I love amazing scenery, especially if it is a challenge to get there. Big hangouts. I love big groups of people, and meeting new people while I'm out. Music, writing and recording.
