Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm from the U.S. I was born and raised in Colorado (the best and most beautiful state), and moved to Chicago when I was 18 to go to school. I majored in something my very liberal arts school made up called “Business of Live and Performing Arts,” which basically means that I want to work in the live concert industry some day. My ultimate goal is to be a booking agent of sorts for a large music festival like Glastonbury.
I’ve put that goal on hold for a while though, as I recently found a job that is not location dependent (online English teacher), so I'm using this opportunity to accomplish another dream of mine: traveling the world! I've been doing this since mid-November 2017, and I've never been happier. I spent all of 2018 in Europe and am super excited to head to New Zealand at the end of March for a whole year.
I’m a very kind, open-minded person who loves meeting fellow travelers and sharing our stories and experiences. I’ve accumulated quite a few just over the past nine months I’ve been traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I may be a solo traveler, but I’m still a very social person. I think the best way to see and discover a new place is through the eyes of a local. Tourist attractions are great, but I prefer to see the hidden gems! I also think that some of the most interesting people in the world are fellow travelers. I love to meet people from all around the world who can share their travel stories, tips, and just all around good company! I’d love to make some lasting friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of the typical movies and tv shows: Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, etc.
Music is my ultimate passion, and I like a bit of everything. I’ve been to probably over 200 live concerts/festivals in my life, starting at the age of four (Ringo Starr at Red Rocks Amphitheater-arguably the best concert venue in the world), and have not stopped since. My favorite genres of music are classic rock and pop-punk, but honestly I like almost everything else as well. It would take me ages to list all of my favorite artists, but on my typical day to day playlist, you’ll find everything from The Beatles to Blink-182, The Arctic Monkeys to Ed Sheeran, Twenty One Pilots to Fleetwood Mac, and pretty much everything in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a five day ayahuasca retreat in the middle of the Sacred Valley of Peru this past November. It was both the most terrifying and most amazing thing I’ve ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an online English teacher, so I’m happy to help with your English if you need help in that area. I’d love to learn a bit of your language as well if you speak other languages.
I’ve compiled quite a list of travel tips, tricks, and secrets over the past few months that I am happy to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an excellent concert buddy, whether it’s a big stadium show or a local band at a small pub, I would be happy to go with you.
I’m also a decent cook! Nothing too fancy, but I’m happy to cook a meal or two for you :)
