Hello! I am a young adult who recently left her hometown in Ohio and moved the middle of nowhere North Carolina. I studied social work, and worked in mental health for two years before making this move. I now nanny for a one year old boy, which allows me a bit more flexibility with travel time. I love to travel, and I have found that some of the best experiences happen when you have a local around you.

Oh man, I am so bad at this. I'm alive, that's sort of amazing, right? I went kayaking a few weeks ago, not the craziest thing, but it was my first time, and it was spectacular.

Like I said, I love stories. I love to share them, and to hear them. Through personal relationships, working with mentally ill clients, and life in general I have come to feel that what's most important is to listen, to respect, and to bring peace and joy where I can. That sounds very hippy-ish. But honestly, it's what matters.
