Hello ☺ I am 25 years old and from MI ✋. I love meeting new people and embarking on new adventures. Life is all about experiences, the knowledge you gain from them, and the people you meet along the way.

I act somewhat impulsively (in a good way), most of my best times were done spontaneously and I prefer to travel and live my life this way for that reason. My goal is to live in the present and embrace any feeling of fear, rather than be afraid of the unknown. Mystery is beauty. I am an extreme empath, I feel strongly and it intimidates even myself. I am a people lover and nature lover. I very much enjoy being around like minded people and having deep, intellectual conversations 🌌 I am always on the go and ready to do this next thing, but still like to sit and enjoy any beautiful view that lies in front of me. Always try to be outside and do whatever it that will make me happy.

I am looking to stay with people who like to have fun and can show me/ point me in the direction of must see things only locals would know about. I'm down to hang out, but I also extremely value my independence and alone time when needed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience the best the places I travel to have to offer, without relying on only the overcrowded, touristy spots and to discover the hidden gems only locals can introduce you to! As well as meet new people with completely different life experiences! I'd love to learn about the culture and history of the areas I am travelling, listen to your journey and knowledge. I hope that we can inspire each other, because this is truly what makes my heart feel on fire 😊

Interests

My favorite thing to do is hike and backpack. I am in love with my hammock and my kayak as well. I am teaching myself the ukulele currently, so that way I can sing more than just in the shower. I want to learn so much more once school is over and I have more time 🙂 I love to be outside and try new things! I'm an adrenaline junkie and value getting my adventure on. I am a sucker for passionate individuals and am easily inspired, I am an all around lover of people and hope to get to know more of you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of practically all music. I love to sing, dance and wish I could fluently play an instrument (beginner ukulele player). I love musicals and going to concerts/ seeing any live music in front of me. I am pretty sure I tear up every time while having a goofy smile on my face.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Hawaii during the volcanic explosions of the most active volcano in the world - Kilauea. Felt a 6.9 magnitude earthquake while swimming in a waterfall in the jungle. Went skydiving where I could see the tallest mountain in the world, the widest mountain in the world and Maui. Cliff jumped into the ocean and into raging waterfalls in the UP of MI and HI. Kayaked during a thunderstorm. Night hiked in the Hiawatha National Forest. Volunteered and fundraised for the Special Olympics of MI. Continuously change the lives of some affected by Autism through ABA therapy - I plan on crossing much more off my bucket list 😛
