About Me
I am a kindergarten special education teacher and wannabe chef/baker/artist. :-) I love learning, reading, drawing, cooking, and the outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the things that holds me back from traveling as much as I would like is finances. I am planning to start my masters in linguistics in Fall 2020, so finances are even tighter now. Couchsurfing allows me to save money AND meet new people, which is a win-win.
Interests
I love to travel, learn new things, explore the world around me, and meet new people. I'm always down to have a discussion about whatever. Tell me all about you! :-)
In my free time I enjoy drawing (figure drawings and pointillism), cooking, baking, and spending time with friends.
I work in a Title I school as a kindergarten special education teacher. I love my students; there’s never a boring day! :-) I also work in a testing center occasionally and administer high stakes tests to people (think MCAT). One of the tests we administer is a test for Federal Air Marshals, and they have some terrific travel stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While in Sweden, I went to the Vasa Museum. The Vasa was a Viking ship that capsized and sank in Stockholm Harbor in 1628. They were able to retrieve the ship from the harbor and preserve it. It was stunning!
