I am Kayla. I am originally from San Diego, and love spending time outside in the sun. I like to run, hike, listen to music, do yoga, and have a good time. I love adventure and meeting new people. I have lived in Europe once before, when I studied abroad as a student at San Diego State University. Since I've graduated, I've decided to revisit in hopes of finding a job or simply to see more of Europe. In San Diego I am training to be a chef, so I love cooking and especially have a passion for salads!!! I am a vegetarian but the food I make is still amazing, I promise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love turning strangers into friends. I LOVE it. I love talking, listening, and learning people's stories. I think there's a lot to learn from one another, traveling and exploring with new people is exciting.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love all types of music, aside from country music. I played piano and clarinet for 10 years, love classical music and a good symphony. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Little Joy, Disclosure are among my favorite artists!

Teach: What can I teach you? Hmm...probably a variety of things! You tell me! I am a communication scholar, so if you need practice for job interviews, or speech practice I am your girl! Though I am not certified I can definitely teach you the basics of yoga and meditation :)
